Dev Log #4: Week 6


Our MVP for Week 6 is now completed, and we gave it to playtesters with a feedback form we created to collect that feedback. This feedback revealed that clarity was the key issue with the build as the player had little idea as to what they were doing and where they should go. 

We’ve taken steps to address this by writing objectives in the corner informing the player of what they should do, and adding visual clarity to the level with lights and colour changes to guide the player to what they can interact with. We also intend to implement a map to guide the player where the keys are located. After Week 6, we are going to have playtesting that will reveal if these changes helped with clarity, and with what further changes are needed to make the game more fun.
